We are lucky to have a healthy indie store scene along the Illawarra coastline .
People who live in the neighbourhoods along this coast rely on local knowledge, considered curation by the cool store owners and the desire of their customers to rock the unexpected. That's what makes this edge of the world so great.
Every store has different needs and different customers and we craft capsule collections from our season to make sure every store is offering something different but also what is right. We don't discount so we don't want our store partners to host collections that don't work for them so they are under pressure to discount. The alternative is just a race to the bottom and there are no winners down there.
We work with store owners to find the right collection, colour ranging, size offer and marketing mix. We also create 'in store only' designs as footfall drivers. This is reflected best in our 'address tee' range that has a dedicated neighbourhood print, only available in that locality. This classic collection of neighbourhood address tees is always available and gives the store the opportunity to reach current customers as well as those visitors looking for a memento.

We operate a two tier wholesale package system depending on whether the partner is a small one-store operation looking to trial newness without financial impediments or if the partner is a multi-store operation looking for a traditional buying mechanism.
TRIAL | We run 12-week trials of capsule collections on a 20% commission basis on those units sold and a return of all unsold stock. From the insight we then provide the right mix of unit numbers, collections, colours and sizing to maintain momentum on our standard wholesale termsSTANDARD | These are typical wholesale terms with no inventory returns with an improved margin. Please note, margins are lower than those from corporate brands that manufacture offshore. As we manufacture onshore and locally, we aim to meet our ethical policies of quality over quantity. We share the same margin pressure equally with our partners plus what we do provide is avoidance of discounting, no preferential undercutting, no waste inventory, micro-batch production and drop demand-drivers, exclusive products as foot fall drivers, considered marketing support and a constant open conversation informed by groups such as Building The Revolution.
POP-UPS | OTHER OPPORTUNITIES WITH PARTNERS
Every now and again we are asked to join in around a rad location that creates an experience where there is an under-served community. Or in calendar event that brings together people who are part of a vibe tribe, such as skate, surf or moto gatherings or celebrating something seasonal.
We recently joined with a free style magazine to run a 3-day pop up one of the main tourist traffic areas, to welcome Christmas vacation visitors as well as the wider local community for the gifting season.
