THE CLASSICS |
Always-on collections reminiscent of moto insignia, endless summer surf and chapters. The design philosophy is sourcing graphic inspiration from our own back yard and customising a spin. Each classic has history and a story that defies era, decade, fashion or fad because it has already weathered the centuries.
Built on a foundation of capsule monochromotics, these are proven staples of the brand and where customers are most likely to purchase multi-colours or add with long sleeves or sweats. Surf and skate tribes connect to the chapter address tees and the 70s logo tee, adding in seasonal drops to add colour. Moto and tourists to Australia (and ex pats overseas) purchase deep into the chapter address tees and the GPC classic collection of tees, jerseys and sweats, with its distinctive old-skool stamp.
The address tee, with its neighbourhood chapters, has been especially created as store foot fall drivers for our partners. The tests we have run with our Port Kembla stockist partner proved that customers came to the store specifically for that exclusive. This created talkability about that stockist's location as well as other associated ranges retailed. A win/win.
SEASONAL DROPS |
Reworked for the year or brand new after a solid graphics find, these seasonals are meant to be collectable because when they sell through they are retired. The colours depend on design and season they are entering.
The Drive Every Turn tee in mustards, petrols and sands was a 90s customisation of an old sign refound, which features a chicane in the A frame, reminiscent of the Grand Pacific Drive twisting route and of the skate momentum movement.
The Grand tee 1.0 riffed off the Drive Every Turn tee as a statement tee for those wanting something more classic and wearable during the week, echoing similar colour options to the Drive Every Turn tee.
The new Grand tee 2.0 is riffed from the classic 70s logo tee, with a greater focus on the sunrise and swell lines on the hook of the G. This is a statement tee closer to US workwear street styling, focusing on more traditional autumnal colour palettes that have solid sell throughs.
The AMPED tee started out as a skater/bmx tee for those that thrill to get airborne yet has been taken up my musos and DJs, for obvious reasons. There is a mix of fresher and muted colours to meet that diversity of customer. The pinks being a favourite of the pool punks, the greens and greys a favourite of those on stage as the graphic is more prominent under lights, and the dirty bone a favourite of the concrete swell chasers.
The ILLAWARRA tee is currently an online exclusive although we welcome inquiries if this graphic is of interest. As a limited edition the first drop sold through so quickly there was a decision to re-print in 2023 to meet demand.
A graphic print colour and the base tee colour can be adapted for stockists requiring a limited edition version as footfall drivers.
